Meet Jade
I'm Jade, Founder and Creative Director of The Hype.
Over the past decade, I've built my career at the intersection of brand strategy, creative storytelling and consumer behaviour, helping businesses become brands people genuinely remember.
Before founding The Hype, I worked across some of Australia's most recognised consumer brands, leading integrated marketing campaigns spanning PR, brand, social, content and partnerships. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work alongside global names including Serena Williams, Usain Bolt and Daniel Ricciardo, while delivering campaigns across fashion, hospitality, lifestyle and retail.
Alongside my corporate career, I launched and grew several of my own businesses, giving me firsthand insight into what it takes to build a brand from the ground up. That entrepreneurial experience shaped the way I approach every client partnership today - balancing creativity with commercial thinking to create brands that don't just look good, but grow.
In 2022, I founded The Hype with a simple belief: the brands that win aren't always the loudest - they're the most memorable.
Today, The Hype partners with ambitious hospitality, retail and lifestyle businesses to build destination brands through strategy, creative production, storytelling and performance marketing. Every campaign is designed with one goal in mind: creating brands that customers choose, recommend and keep coming back to.

Joanna is a Social Media Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Event Management, with experience across hospitality marketing and events. She manages multiple clients in an agency environment, delivering engaging, results-driven content strategies across creation, campaigns, analytics, and client management.
A huge foodie, Joanna also runs her own content page, giving her a strong instinct for trends, audience behaviour, and what performs online.

Elysa Villareal, also known as Elysa V, is a Sydney-based content creator, influencer, and Social Media Manager. Elysa combines creativity with strategy to craft engaging, visually impactful content that connects with audiences. She also has a background in music, holding multiple degrees and completing her Master of Creative Industries at JMC Academy, and hopes to inspire others to create fearlessly.
